About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Valmet. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a critical role in the assembly and disassembly of mechanical roll equipment for the paper industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble mechanical roll equipment, including bearings, housings, and water cooling apparatus, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Repair and maintain industrial production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Record parts and materials used, as well as prepare time and production records, to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Read blueprints and manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and teamwork.
