Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center. As an Observation Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing close observation of patients in our Emergency Department.
This is a PRN position that requires flexibility and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work productively under stress, and a professional demeanor.
Salary Range: $12.51 - $17.51 per hour (DOE)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct observation of patients as directed by the nursing plan of care and under the supervision of the nursing staff.
- Obtain verbal report from the patient's nurse to include information regarding the patient's identified care needs, diagnosis, visual, auditory, or language barriers, course of action for redirection of patient if needed, as well as any special considerations (NPO, bed alarms, etc.).
- Position self in patient room to maintain constant visual observation of the patient.
- High school education or equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
