V2X is seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Design Support Manager to join our team in support of the AFCENT NOSC IT contract. This is a contingent position, pending successful contract award to V2X.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert-level support for the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT services and operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance network security, availability, and performance.
- Manage and maintain complex network environments, including Microsoft Windows Server, storage solutions, and core and distributed network solutions.
- Design and implement server infrastructure, including active directory domain services (AD DS) forests and Microsoft users and permissions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, protecting user data and network integrity.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve network systems and infrastructure.
- U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret (with SCI eligibility) Security Clearance.
- BS degree in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, or engineering.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience in network systems design, implementation, and maintenance.
- VMWare Certified Technical Associate (VCTA), ITIL Foundation, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Network+ Certifications.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, storage solutions, high availability, Domain Name Systems (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), network connectivity and remote access solutions, core and distributed network solutions, and advance network infrastructure.
- Unix / Linux experience and firewall experience.
- HBSS experience.
