Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and addressing the cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs of our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and screen students to assess their cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Write comprehensive evaluation reports, including all assessment results and goals.
  • Collaborate with the IEP Team to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for annual reviews and provide input for students undergoing three-year reevaluations.
  • Provide consultation to classroom teachers on student progress, behavior management techniques, and developing individualized behavior management plans.
  • Participate in special education meetings to discuss student needs and progress.
  • Complete Medicaid reimbursement activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in California.
  • Experience conducting assessments and writing evaluation reports.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
