Caregiver Opportunity for Compassionate Individuals

Aging Kingdom Homecare is seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide in-home care to a gentleman who has been recovering from a fall. The ideal candidate will have a heart for serving the elderly community and be dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities- Provide personal hygiene assistance
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist clients with ambulation
- Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals
- Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
- Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One year-full time experience in personal care or an institutional setting, such as a hospital or nursing home, or one-year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home care agency setting
- Evidence of sympathetic attitude toward elderly care
- Demonstrated ability to read, write and carry out directions
- Evidence of maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work closely supervised to ensure competence in providing client care
- Must have a criminal history check conducted prior to being offered a position with the agency
