Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Forensic Security Employee Trainee to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a Forensic Security Employee Trainee, you will be responsible for providing non-professional nursing care and treatment services to mentally ill patients referred by the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily routine care for patients and maintain a safe, secure environment
  • Assist patients in accomplishing day-to-day living activities
  • Provide assistance based on individual patient needs
  • Actively engage patients in a therapeutic manner
Work Schedule

You will work a rotating schedule with a 30-minute lunch and every other weekend off. The schedule will include:

  • 1st shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Requirements
  • Completion of the tenth school grade or any equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Pass a background investigation
  • Pass a medical examination and drug screening
