As a pivotal component of our transitional care hospitals, our Registered Nurses deliver the same level of critical care found in traditional hospitals, but with an emphasis on extended recovery.
As a Registered Nurse / RN, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and executing both direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
- Creating nursing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams as needed.
- Communicating any changes in patients' clinical conditions to Physicians, Nursing Supervisors/Managers, and colleagues as appropriate.
- Engaging in the discharge planning process.
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse / RN position include:
- A degree from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing, or a Nursing Diploma program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification is mandatory; ACLS certification is preferred.
- A minimum of six months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical/Surgical acute care environment is preferred.
