Advanced Practice Provider General Surgery Specialist

We are seeking a Full-Time General Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Franciscan Surgical Associates at St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale, Washington.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- First assisting on laparoscopic, robotic, and open procedures
- Inpatient hospital rounding and patient management
- Consultations, discharges, managing orders, patient history, and surgery preparation
The schedule will be Monday-Friday, with shared call responsibilities among a team of five surgeons and one Physician Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
QualificationsTo be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Be a graduate of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Have at least two years of current surgical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Be licensed in the state of Washington as a P.A or ARNP by the time of employment
- Be certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Hold DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority
- Have current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

The hourly pay range for this position is $88.70.
