Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain excellence in customer service by being caring, compassionate, empathetic, and responsive to the needs of all who reach out to us.
  • Participate in committees within our community hospitals and embody the Empath Health mission, vision, and values.
  • Advocate for optimal access to the right care at the right time in any care setting.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Florida license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Valid Florida State Driver's License.
  • Continuing Education: As required for licensure.
  • Certifications: Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Bilingual - fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Basic knowledge of non-hospice related healthcare and community resources.
  • Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.
  • Versed in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Preferred Qualification: 1 year experience working in migrant communities and underserved populations and demographics.
  • Preferred Qualification: Experience maneuvering and operating a mobile unit.
