Job Description

Sponsel CPA Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge in tax laws and regulations.
  • Prepare tax projections and estimated federal and state income tax payments.
  • Perform year-end accrual calculations and prepare the tax provision.
  • Prepare federal and state income tax returns, including multistate tax preparation.
  • Assist in federal and state audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
  • Two to five years recent public accounting experience.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ProSystem fx Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
