We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our Institute for Breast Care, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of transforming healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and screening mammographic examinations on adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate equipment for specific procedures, including mammographic imaging for breast needle localization and stereotactic procedures.
  • Provide immobilization devices, select proper technical factors, and ensure accurate patient identification and image marking.
  • Assist with quality control procedures, documenting phantom images, repeat analysis, calibration tests, and diagnostic review workstation QC.
  • Compile statistics for patient follow-ups, track breast localizations, and biopsy recommendations.
  • Document procedures regarding quality control and quality assurance for mammography in compliance with ACR, MQSA, NJ State, and FDA regulations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Diagnostic Radiography License and Registered Technologist Radiology & Mammography certification.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification and AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Working Conditions

This role requires regular contact with Medical Center personnel, patients, and visitors. The successful candidate will be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs., push and pull a minimum of 200 lbs., and stand for the length of the shift.
