About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Centerline. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing telecom structures, including towers and mounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed structural analysis of original, modified, and proposed telecommunication towers, including monopole, guyed, and lattice self-support structures.
  • Develop and implement structural analysis tools and training presentations, and conduct training sessions.
  • Lead small to moderate-sized projects and participate in large projects as an engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Review and approve AutoCAD drawings for tower and foundation reinforcement/modifications designs.
  • Coordinate work with other disciplines, such as architectural, mechanical, and electrical.
  • Handle routine contract administration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
  • EI or EIT Certification is a must; PE or SE in civil structural engineering is desirable.
  • 2-5 years of experience in the Wireless/Telecom industry with proven experience in structural analysis and design with towers and mounts.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and construction design and drawing preparation.
  • Understanding of antennas, fiber, carrier services, and other wireless equipment.
  • Knowledge of TNX Tower, Enercalc, PLS Caisson, and Risa 3D Programs is preferred.
  • Flexible work schedule and ability to work outside in all weather conditions, if needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-starter with desire and ability to learn and retain knowledge, and ability to work with teams and independently.
