About this Role

We're seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient infrastructure. As a key member of our Engineering team, you'll collaborate with QA teams to automate manual processes, ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, troubleshoot, and approve pull requests drafted by more junior engineers, providing feedback to improve code quality.
• Plan capacity planning and monitoring with DevOps using Datadog.
• Analyze developer workflow by working closely with team leads and attending squad standup meetings, suggesting improvements.
• Write infrastructure as code using Terraform to create AWS, Datadog, and other technology.
• Write scripts using Harness or CircleCI to create development pipelines that push code to Dev, Staging, and Production environments.
• Build scripting to enable canary deployments into our CI/CD pipeline.
• Add stages with stress testing mechanisms using.
• Write bash scripting to automate development workflows, eliminating manual processes currently run by developers or QA.
• Utilize Terraform to deploy and manage infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience with programming/scripting languages such as Ruby on Rails, Python, or Bash.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: HarnessCD, CircleCI, or Gitlab CI/CD to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (ECS, Docker).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
