Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient flow process and ensure a smooth examination experience
  • Prepare exam rooms and patients for examination, and assist providers with exams or procedures
  • Provide treatments and medications as ordered by providers, and perform diagnostic testing including obtaining and/or preparing specimens
  • Travel to various locations to provide staffing coverage and on-site services
  • Perform administrative support duties such as answering telephones, filing, faxing, and record processing
  • Apply the Minimal Necessary Standard when accessing protected health information
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assisting technical program
  • Proficient computer skills and exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work positively among diverse groups of individuals and travel as needed
  • Flexibility in schedule and a valid driver's license with proof of auto insurance
