Claims Adjuster

As an auto damage claims adjuster at Progressive Insurance, you will serve as the primary point of contact with customers, directing and making decisions regarding the repair process from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership and conflict management skills, as well as attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

• Conduct vehicle inspections, write estimates, and determine total loss evaluations
• Negotiate repair processes with body shops
• Document information related to claims and make decisions consistent with claims standards and local laws
• Evaluate and handle claim payments and resolution of claims without payments
• Review and determine validity of supplement requests

• A minimum of four years of relevant work experience, including one year in appraisal/estimatics or insurance
• Associate's degree and three years of relevant work experience, including one year in appraisal/estimatics or insurance
• Bachelor's degree and one year of relevant work experience in appraisal/estimatics or insurance
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and compliance with Progressive's driving standards and policies

• $63,300 - $77,400 per year
• Gainshare bonus up to 16% of eligible earnings based on company performance
