Job Title: CDL Driver

Bellevue Builders Supply, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for delivering materials to job sites, inspecting and maintaining your truck, and reporting any shortages or claims to your supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a truck with a capacity of over three tons, safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect and maintain your truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Report any shortages or claims to your supervisor and assist in loading and storing materials.
  • Deliver and unload materials to customers' satisfaction.
  • Prepare DOT required logs of time on duty and driving.
  • Organize and secure loads.
  • Assist forklift operators when loading.
  • Check orders for accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
  • Minimum experience: 6 months CDL experience preferred. Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers required. 1 year CDL experience required for interstate commerce.
  • Special skills: Ability to do basic math, read orders, write instructions, and complete forms.
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees, and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems.
  • Maintain current operator's license and meet company driver qualification requirements.
  • Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.
  • Physical demands include stooping, bending, twisting, and throwing. Working in a variety of climates and environmental conditions. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs or more on a repetitive basis.
  • Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies (e.g. Smartphone, GPS, and other necessary business applications).
