Cesna is a leading innovator in business technology, combining domestic and foreign technologies to drive customer success. We're seeking a highly skilled Procurement Director to lead our supplier management efforts.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating vendor qualifications, tracking performance, and maintaining records of historical cost data. They will also develop and maintain project specifications, trade scopes, and project budgets, as well as assist with contract negotiations and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Research and cultivate key vendor relationships
- Collaborate with HQ to establish corporate purchasing regulations and revamp purchasing procedures
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures during supplier negotiations and contracts award process
- Respond to vendor inquiries, resolve issues, and disparities relating to purchases of goods, services, and payments
- Negotiate pricing on all information technology equipment and services
- Communicate effectively with staff and vendors regarding purchase requests
- Identify and assess relevant legal risks associated with the current and proposed business activities of the company and negotiate terms with vendors
- Validate exceptional terms and conditions
- Create Purchase Order documents based on Purchase Request forms and follow up on PO changes
- Review and compare purchase orders and invoices to verify validity of information
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field
- 8+ years of supplier management experience required
- Bilingual (English & Korean) required
- 8+ years of experience in preparing, negotiating, and executing contracts preferred
- Experience in supporting an information technology organization preferred
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships
- Ability to multi-task
- Familiarity with technical equipment: PC's, servers, Networks, etc.
