At Amazon Stores, we are committed to providing exceptional service delivery. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout our facilities. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and mentor junior technicians while promoting a safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures, as well as repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or related mechanical/controls equipment. They should also be proficient in reading blueprints and electrical schematics, and have a strong understanding of safety standards.
In this role, you will use your technical expertise to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, complete preventative maintenance routines, and track and store department inventory. You will work closely with the Operations Maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
* Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
* Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
* Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility
* Track and store department inventory
