This role within the Space Program is centered on delivering comprehensive Enterprise Systems Engineering and Integration services to a national intelligence acquisition and operations organization. The program plays a crucial role in facilitating thorough acquisition processes across diverse mission domains within a complex national systems framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete closure of system requirements baseline for Space Indications and Warning (I&W) initiatives and related activities.
- Ensure adherence to Integration and Closure (I&C) readiness protocols.
- Engage with stakeholders across the enterprise, including tracking actions and follow-ups.
- Assist in the system integration of new projects to enhance operational capabilities.
- Assess requirements, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), architectural products, system timelines, and associated risks.
- Serve as the Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) 'trusted agent' to the client by delivering evaluations and providing recommendations to achieve mission objectives.
Qualifications:
- 10 to 12 years of relevant experience with a BS/BA, or 8 to 10 years with an MS/MA, or 5 to 7 years with a PhD.
- Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
- Previous experience with the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD).
- Knowledge of Ground systems and overall space and ground architecture.
- Familiarity with mission technical capabilities and system performance evaluation.
- Experience in Mission Planning, Control, or Processing functions supporting space and ground architecture.
- Expertise in requirements engineering, CONOPS development, verification, testing, and system integration for End-to-End Systems Engineering to support client missions.
- Demonstrated adaptability and daily engagement with government clients on-site.
- Skills in Ground or Space systems and Indications & Warning (I&W) systems.
- Proficiency in DOORs requirements database management/repository, Rhapsody and SysML applications, Confluence, and Jira.
- Commitment to continuous learning, teamwork, knowledge sharing, and contributing to mission success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in large-scale acquisition systems engineering projects, methodologies, and processes.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient in MS Office.
- Solid business acumen and professional demeanor in the workplace.
- Highly organized and adaptable.
