Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registrar Generalist to provide exceptional customer service, quality assurance, and technical support to the Registrar's Office. As a key member of our team, you will serve as the primary contact for student, staff, and faculty registration and record questions, ensuring the integrity of system data and providing timely support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Student Information System updates, including student registrations, address, and name changes.
  • Track attendance at the beginning of each semester and contact faculty as needed.
  • Manage the Academic Calendar, providing reminders and notices to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Process substitutions, waivers, and grade changes.
  • Enter transfer credit for evaluation.
  • Track Mid-Term and Final Grade Submission.
  • Create, track, and organize graduation-related information.
  • Build and maintain course schedules.
  • Update and maintain student records.
  • Transition student current and historical records to electronic documents.
  • Compare course catalogs and highlight program changes for Degree Audit updates.
  • Prepare degree audits for graduation, letters of verification, transcripts, and diplomas.
  • Prepare schedules and degree audits for VA enrollment certifications.
  • Monitor the registrars' office email inbox.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field.
  • Two years' experience working in an office environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service commitment and a continuous quality focus.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience in a higher education environment or registrar's office preferred.
  • Knowledge of Datatel/Colleague preferred.
