Your Role and Responsibilities
As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will:

  • Prepare patients for CT examinations, explaining procedures and ensuring high technical quality.
  • Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology to operate effectively within the Imaging Department.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced staff and students.
  • Maintain current licensure as required by the Texas Department of Health.
  • Hold registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Preferably have prior experience in CT within a clinical or hospital environment.
  • Comply with vaccination requirements for COVID-19 as mandated by local, state, or federal regulations.

About Us
Rio Grande Regional Hospital has been a cornerstone of healthcare in the Rio Grande Valley for over 30 years. Our full-service facility boasts over 320 beds and a dedicated team of more than 500 physicians across 35 specialties. We provide a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services.

Our Emergency Room is a Level III Trauma Center, and we have expanded our services throughout the Rio Grande Valley with multiple remote ER locations. Our Women's Services include labor and delivery, as well as a specialized NICU. We also feature a dedicated children's hospital within our main facility.

We are proud to collaborate with the Texas Transplant Institute, providing essential services for patients in need of organ, tissue, or stem cell transplants. Our commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence has earned us recognition in the communities we serve.
