VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Leader to join our team in Ohio. As a Correctional Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while managing a supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality care consistent with the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act for Registered Nurses.
- Manage a supervisory role, delegating and ensuring supervision of nursing activities and functions to other competent nursing personnel.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for the quality of care delivered, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Act as a patient advocate to promote the quality of healthcare delivered in the facility.
- Lead by example, promoting best practices within the profession of nursing.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Possesses an active CPR certification.
- Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice.
- Satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies to demonstrate aptitude as assigned by role.
