We are seeking a skilled Radiographer I to join our team at Nemours Children's Specialty Clinic in Lakeland, Florida.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform x-ray procedures under the direction of a physician with established methods and procedures.
  • Provide patient care and operate general diagnostic equipment.
  • Participate in departmental and hospital programs for Quality Assessment and Improvement.
  • Interact with patients and caregivers, providing accurate preparation instructions and answering procedural questions.
  • Operate hospital computer systems for patient data entry and retrieval.
  • Assist with application and removal of cast material when needed.
  • Perform ECGs, obtain vital signs, and enter patient information in EMR.
  • Ensure proper function of equipment and report unsafe conditions and incidents.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree required.
  • State of Florida Radiology Technologist License required.
  • ARRT registration required.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification required upon hire and must be maintained.

This is a casual/prn position, requiring a flexible schedule and reliable transportation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
