Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team at South Platte Health and Rehabilitation Center LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administration of nursing services, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
    • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Clinical Expertise
    • Develop and implement clinical programs and initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing research and best practices to ensure our residents receive the best possible care.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the management of nursing supplies, equipment, and medications to ensure they are adequate and properly stored.
    • Develop and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize disruptions.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in nursing leadership or management, preferably in a Skilled Nursing environment.
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in Colorado.
  • Current, valid CPR certification.
