Supplier Quality Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely nonconformance data to suppliers for rejected products.
- Support suppliers in problem-solving and root cause analysis to eliminate recurrences of non-conformances.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Participate in daily Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to review non-conformances and identify appropriate dispositions.
- Assist the Quality Assurance department in correcting supplier documentation errors and resolving recurring issues.
- Handle and monitor Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARS).
- Ensure effective implementation of supplier corrective and preventative actions to address quality deficiencies.
- Conduct periodic supplier audits and performance assessments.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering to address supplier-identified issues related to Design, Manufacturability, or Quality Requirements.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives and maintain positive working relationships with vendors.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports.
- Work with credit and debit memos.
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Supplier Quality Engineering, preferably in an Engineered-to-Order facility.
- Experience with materials, manufacturing technologies, and manufacturing processes such as forging, casting, and machining.
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Able to facilitate work with multi-functional groups to achieve results.
- Up to 30% travel required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of ASME Section III Nuclear and Navy Mil-Spec.
