Auto Glass Technician Trainee Job Description

Safelite is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Glass Technician Trainee to join our team. As a Technician Trainee, you will participate in a comprehensive training program that covers the installation and repair of auto glass, as well as the recalibration of automotive safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in hands-on training and classroom instruction to learn the skills and techniques necessary to become a certified auto glass technician
  • Install and repair auto glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows
  • Recalibrate automotive safety systems, including airbags and sensors
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for customers

Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid state-issued driver's license required
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
