Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab RN Manager

vTech Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Chair of the Division of Cardiology, the Cardiac Cath Lab RN Manager will oversee the clinical and nonclinical staff in the invasive cardiovascular laboratories, including cardiac cath and EP labs and hybrid room(s). The successful candidate will formulate and implement policies and procedures, support quality improvement initiatives, review outcome measures, and initiate needed change.

The Cardiac Cath Lab RN Manager will also oversee the implementation of various operational and quality improvement initiatives in the invasive areas, which include, but are not limited to, cardiac cath, EP, structural, vascular, and hybrid procedures and other related clinical services across CCH.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the clinical and nonclinical staff in the invasive cardiovascular laboratories
  • Formulate and implement policies and procedures
  • Support quality improvement initiatives
  • Review outcome measures and initiate needed change
  • Oversee the implementation of various operational and quality improvement initiatives in the invasive areas
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
  • Five (5) years of full-time nursing experience
  • Three (3) years of full-time experience in procedural unit, laboratory (i.e., stress lab, Cath lab, epi), and/or operating room
  • Two (2) years of full-time management and/or supervisory experience
  • Active Advanced Cardiovascular
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
