LPN Geropsychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Geropsychiatric team at UnityPoint Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Behavioral Health unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide safe and reliable patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Monitor and report patient reactions to their plan of care.
- Participate in patient education and therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- One year of hospital clinical experience or demonstrated clinical efficiency.
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Iowa.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within three months of hire.
