Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Maryville, Inc. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial nursing assessments for incoming clients and develop individualized care plans.
  • Arrange appointments with healthcare providers to complete physical examinations, including required health screenings and tests.
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate medication supply records.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies in compliance with governing regulations and agency policy.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to infection control policies and practices.
  • Provide education to clients on health, nutrition, safety, and medication compliance.
  • Manage electronic medical records (EMR) and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Develop and maintain multidisciplinary treatment plans for clients based on their needs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Medical Director, Director of Nursing, or Chief Executive Officer.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
  • Current RN license in good standing in New Jersey.
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certification issued by the American Red Cross or the American Red Cross Association.
  • May be a recent graduate of an approved nursing school or have a minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare issues related to substance use disorders, including mental health needs, women's health issues, HIV/AIDS, and other communicable diseases.
  • Knowledge of accurate record-keeping in accordance with regulatory agencies and standards.
  • Knowledge of nutritional requirements and practices.
  • Ability to plan and organize work with prioritization and time management skills.
  • Ability to prepare accurate records and reports.
