Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced auto technician to join our team at Bay Ridge Honda. As a skilled service technician, you will be responsible for efficiently performing work as specified on repair orders, adhering to our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to accurately assess and repair vehicles.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
  • Communicate directly with Service Advisors to ensure customers are fully informed of any additional services needed, providing accurate time estimates for additional repairs.
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Technician.
  • Preferred: Experience with Honda, Mazda, or Volkswagen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE Certification mandatory.
  • Strong mechanical skills, excellent hand-eye coordination, and steady dexterity.
  • Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer knowledge.
  • Positive and friendly attitude, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Willingness to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
