Job Summary:
As a key member of the Fontaine Modification Company team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repair services to vehicles. This may involve concentrating on specific areas of the company's fleet, such as delivery trucks, or servicing a variety of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose vehicle problems and estimate repair costs
- Order necessary parts and materials
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Train apprentices in the trade
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts
