Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Data Scientist with experience in deploying models as APIs or within containerized environments. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet business objectives. Your expertise in Python, especially for data manipulation and machine learning, natural language processing, and familiarity with various log formats will be essential in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 9 years of total relevant experience plus a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical degree or industry experience equivalent (+4 years relevant experience can substitute for a BS degree)
- Experience with NOSQL databases such as Accumulo a plus
- Familiarity with deploying models as APIs or within containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to serve and monitor models in production
- Security Clearance-Current active TS, SCI eligible
- Strong skills in Python, especially for data manipulation (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning, natural language processing (e.g., Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, Spa Cy, NLTK)
- Fluency with data extraction, custom translation development, and loading including data prep and labeling to enable data analytics
- Familiarity with various log formats such as JSON, XML, and others
- Must be willing to achieve required skill certification promptly. Prefer current DoD IAT II or higher certification
- Willingness to do a programming challenge during the interview process
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Python Data Science Libraries
- Experience with ML-OPS and related tools (e.g., MLFLOW, Sagemaker, Bedrock) and ability to build interactive, insightful dashboards for monitoring ML models
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)/transformer models
- Experience with writing, updating Java API's
- Prior experience supporting cyber and/or network security operations within a large enterprise, as either an analyst, engineer, architect, or developer
- Experience with restful API's
- Familiarity with Agile Project team and task management environment
- Experience with Zoom/Team/Meet style team meetings
