We are currently seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to support our Independent Living Culinary Team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in our dining areas by removing used dishes, glassware, utensils, linens, and waste from various locations, including the dining room and employee breakroom. This is a Part-time position with no late hours required. Starting pay is $15.00.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dishwashing areas for efficient operation.
  • Clean and prewash pots, pans, utensils, and dishes as needed.
  • Operate the dish machine to ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned.
  • Organize and store clean kitchenware and utensils appropriately.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash containers and recycling materials.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma is preferred. Candidates should be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, understand measurements, perform basic arithmetic, and follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Previous experience in bussing, dishwashing, or general cleaning is preferred, though training will be provided.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to interpret instructions and standards are essential.
