Job Overview

Soliant is a leading healthcare staffing agency seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 12-week contract position at a K-8 charter school in Saugus, MA.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect an hourly rate of $35 to $42, paid on a W2 basis. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance.

Job Responsibilities

As a COTA with Soliant, you will work collaboratively with a supervising OT to provide occupational therapy services to students, creating customized plans of care and documenting student progress. Your duties will include:

  • Providing one-on-one occupational therapy sessions to students, tailored to their individual needs
  • Documenting classroom activities and summarizing student responses to interventions
  • Consulting with the supervising OT to determine appropriate activities and adjust plans based on student response
  • Offering administrative support to the OT team, ensuring seamless operations
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess:

  • A Massachusetts COTA license
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatrics or school settings, with a strong preference for candidates with prior experience working with children
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and students
  • Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
