We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our team at SPP Corp. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in supporting Tariff production, NERC planning, and Engineering initiative activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance on the development of study scopes and processes
- Represent SPP in industry and regulatory technical settings
- Coordinate with SPP membership on key issues and results
- Develop and maintain a strong level of knowledge of governing documents for Tariff and NERC activities
- Stay abreast of the latest FERC and NERC orders and rulemaking activities
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- 15 years' of relevant Engineering experience
- Professional Engineer license
- Advanced proficiency with power systems analysis tools
- Working knowledge of Open Access Transmission Tariffs and FERC & NERC governing documents
