Job Title: Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Autokiniton. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and follow through on sample submissions involving initial samples, engineering changes, prototypes, and pilots.
  • Prepare all sample submission documentation and submit to appropriate customer personnel.
  • Review all supplier PPAP information and be responsible for acceptance or rejection.
  • Prepare and update inspection instructions, first piece set-up reports, incoming inspection reports, fixture certification, control plans, and other necessary documentation.
  • Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Address and follow through on in-house and customer issues.
  • Assure that all corrective actions are submitted on a timely basis to the customer and that all preventive actions are verified to prevent recurrence of the issue.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Manufacturing experience required.
  • Microsoft Office Intermediate Level.
  • Travels to customers and suppliers as necessary.
