Job Overview

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in computer programming and systems integration.

Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical STEM field from an accredited institution. A minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in computer hardware engineering, software design, and managing software requirements.

Preferred Qualifications: Proven ability to develop and assess real-time systems, control systems, and complex modeling, particularly in safety-critical software for both ground and flight applications. Experience in system software design, documentation, configuration management, and debugging for flight vehicles and their support systems is essential. Proficiency in current programming languages such as C, C++, C#, JAVA, Python, and various scripting languages is required. Familiarity with scripting APIs, JavaScript, SQL, and database management is also expected. Knowledge of ground-based and flight system instrumentation, as well as telemetry system software across video, serial, digital, and analog formats, is crucial. The ability to lead a software team with diverse skill sets in both flight and ground-based requirements is highly valued.

Security Clearance: A secret clearance or the capability to obtain a secret clearance or higher is mandatory.
