Job Overview:
The primary role of the Machine Operator involves the operation and oversight of machinery utilized in the manufacturing of the company's products. This position may also encompass equipment setup and routine maintenance tasks for more intricate assignments, as well as performing finishing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comply with Integer's core values and adhere to all safety, environmental, security, and quality standards, including but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), FDA regulations, and company policies.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the discipline, completing tasks and resolving routine issues with some degree of independent judgment.
  • Engage in equipment setup and manage more complex assignments as needed.
  • Load component materials into product-specific tools and conduct finishing operations.
  • Read and interpret operating manuals, maintenance instructions, and procedural guidelines.
  • Visually inspect parts using a microscope and/or dimensional tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Follow established documentation protocols for product manufacturing and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain and clean machinery as required.
  • Enhance skill set through on-the-job training, cross-training, job rotations, and educational courses.
  • Participate in team initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience operating machinery in a regulated manufacturing setting; experience in the medical device industry is preferred.

Skills:
  • Proficient understanding of technical drawings and blueprints with the ability to interpret information.
  • Capability to work with small precision components.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed instructions in English.
  • Basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques.
