Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a per diem / prn nurse RN Oncology for a per diem / prn nursing job in Marinette, Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities- Provide ongoing care to patients in the oncology department, assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating health promotion and preventive aspects of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in community education programs and continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians to confirm, correlate, and update patient care plans.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Typically requires 2 years of experience in an acute care nursing setting, including oncology experience.
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
- Exceptional organization and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs over the head, carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance, push/pull with 30 lbs of force, and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs with a second person present.
