Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting pharmacists with medication dispensing, and maintaining accurate records.

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and medication lists.
• Perform various administrative tasks, such as processing prescriptions, handling cash transactions, and maintaining inventory.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and provide support as needed.

• PCTB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer basic math skills (counting, measuring, and weighing medications).
• Prefer basic level PC skills (for example: start up and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and/or access information online).
