The Conveyor Technician II role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency by performing both preventative and corrective maintenance on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs and enhancements on automation systems, MHE, and facility infrastructure
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders
  • Communicate effectively through various channels
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a safety-first mindset
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently
  • Gather necessary materials for repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of spare parts and tools
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across departments
  • Adapt to flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks, including forklifts and people movers
  • Assess and resolve a variety of maintenance challenges on-site, including MHE, robotics, electrical systems, plumbing, and more
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks using appropriate tools and equipment
  • Assist Facilities Maintenance Technicians as needed
  • Conduct battery changes and preventive maintenance on battery systems
  • Understand the operational mechanics of equipment and systems
  • Demonstrate keen attention to detail in identifying maintenance issues
  • Organize and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance related to Material Handling Systems and Facilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Trade School education or equivalent experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to grasp, bend, and lift
  • Capability to work at heights and in various positions
  • Proficient in operating hand tools safely
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment
  • Ability to work in environments with varying conditions
