Job Summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
  • Two or more years of recent critical care experience.
  • Current AHA BLS Certification.
  • Current AHA ACLS Certification.
  • CCRN preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
