About the Role

As a Site Reliability Engineer on our Video Platform team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our video system, which serves billions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable systems to support the growth of our video platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues.
  • Develop and maintain tools and automation scripts to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with engineers and product managers to design and implement new features and services.
  • Provide expert-level support during major events and incidents to ensure the system remains stable and performs optimally.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps, with a strong background in software engineering and system administration.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of networking, operating systems, and database systems.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and ELK.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
