The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education and support
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop plans of care that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other healthcare professionals and support staff as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
