Kitchen Steward

Job Summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to join our team. As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning equipment and utensils, and storing supplies and food in designated areas.

• Assist with food preparation and service, including washing dishes, cleaning pots and pans, and restocking supplies.

• Maintain a high level of sanitation and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas, including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and utensils.

• Assist with receiving and storing food and supplies, including checking inventory and rotating stock to ensure freshness and quality.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or food service industry.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of energy and productivity.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and guests.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, including equipment and supplies.
