Combat Engineer Specialist

As a Combat Engineer with the Army National Guard, you will play a vital role in supporting your fellow Soldiers in navigating unpredictable environments. Your expertise in designing and building bridges, roadways, secure perimeters, and tactical firing systems will be instrumental in safeguarding your team and repelling the enemy.
Key Responsibilities- Construct fighting positions, fixed/floating bridges, obstacles, and defensive positions
- Place and detonate explosives
- Conduct operations that include route clearance of obstacles and rivers
You will also have the opportunity to develop skills in basic demolitions, explosive hazards, constructing wire obstacles, fixed bridge building, urban operations, and operating heavy equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong physical abilities, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compensation PackageWe offer a competitive compensation package, including a monthly salary of $2500-$3000, depending on experience and location. Additionally, you will receive paid training, a 401(k)-type savings plan, low-cost life insurance, and access to tuition assistance programs.
