About the Role

This unique apprenticeship program is designed for individuals who are passionate about becoming a master distiller. As a craft distiller trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in every aspect of distilling, from ingredient preparation and production planning to equipment maintenance and distillation techniques.

Job Description

You will work under the guidance of our experienced master distiller, learning the art and science of distilling in a professional work-study environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Production Support: Assist with calculating ingredient volumes, running equipment, and monitoring the distilling process.">
• Quality Control & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and perform regular equipment checks and maintenance.">
• Record-Keeping & Compliance: Develop meticulous record-keeping skills to meet federal and state regulations.">
• Physical & Technical Operations: Manage the physical demands of the job, including transferring large volumes of material and handling distillery equipment.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus on-site housing and opportunities for career growth and advancement.
