Job Summary

The Warehouse Material Handler plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficient production flow through the plant by moving materials to and from production areas. Key responsibilities include performing inventory transactions, such as transfers and location audits, to maintain accuracy levels within assigned inventory locations. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong math abilities, and the ability to resolve inventory discrepancies using problem-solving methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Moves all materials to and from manufacturing areas efficiently
  • Keeps 'floor' inventory properly stocked and organized for optimal production use
  • Accurately records all transactions and transfers, completing required forms
  • Verifies prescribed accuracy levels within assigned inventory locations
  • Participates in the recount team during floor counts, ensuring inventory integrity
  • Utilizes problem-solving skills to resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Works closely with Receiving and Operations to ensure prompt notification of items on the 'hot list'
  • Fills picking locations in both warehouses daily, rotating stock effectively
  • Maintains effective working relationships with other associates
  • Performs duties safely, utilizing approved safety equipment as instructed
  • Maintains a neat and orderly work area
  • Actively participates in and supports teamwork and continuous process improvement
  • Demonstrates flexibility and commitment through cross-training and assisting other departments as needed
  • Serves as backup to the Shipping Department
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings
  • 2+ years of warehouse/material handling experience preferred
Compensation Details

$19-$20 Hourly Wage
