Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a suburban school district near Reading, PA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping elementary school students overcome speech and language challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs, and develop individualized education plans to address their needs.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders, and maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns, and provide reports of students' progress to parents.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development, and organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Instructional Specialist certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Pennsylvania Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings
  • Professionalism and accountability
