Morrison Living is seeking a skilled Steward to join our team. As a Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep and Mop Floors: Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards by sweeping and mopping floors at regular intervals.
  • Operate Kitchen Equipment: Use large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Wash and Sanitize: Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as all other food preparation surfaces, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Trash and Recycling: Segregate and remove trash and garbage, and place it in designated containers. Steam clean or hose out garbage cans in assigned areas.
  • Dishwashing and Cleaning: Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation machines and equipment to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Supply Management: Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, observing all safe lifting standards.
  • Assist with Banquet Setup: Assist with banquet table and front of the house setup as requested.
  • Supply Distribution: Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
  • Compliance: Comply with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
